Having been in the mortgage industry for over 15 years and being married to a realtor, I have been involved in thousands of real estate transactions. As much as I love mortgage, I have always enjoyed the real estate side of the business. It is so exciting seeing buyers so excited about their new home purchase, and I’m excited to be on the front lines now! My husband and I have also custom built 2 homes, so we are very familiar with every aspect of the industry. I was ready for a change, and am excited to team up with my husband, Paul, to grow our business in the Charleston market as The DuRant Team of Charleston. I grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Public Relations. I spent a lot of time in Charleston growing up as my grandparents lived on James Island, and my father owns a home in Wild Dunes. We were also married in the low country and had our wedding reception at Middleton Plantation. Charleston has always held a special place in my heart which is why we decided to move here in 2020. We live on Daniel Island and have 3 kids, Brady (12), Katelyn (10), and Molly (7). We could not be happier with our decision to call Charleston home, and I look forward to helping more families relocate here and finding out just why Charleston is the best place to live and raise a family! In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, volunteering at the kid’s school, and watching my kids play sports.
